Rated 4 out of 5 by from How Do You Puff It Up? I just got mine delivered today! I tried one on the shop and it's all puffy but this one looks flat (probably because it's still new). How do I puff it up?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, warm and great Happy with the jacket but the colour is not the correct shade showing in photo. Colour showing is bright red but is actually brick red.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect warm jacket I bought this for jacket for work and it ticks all the boxes for me. First of all I don’t like black winter jackets as winter is depressing enough without wearing dark colours and finding good quality clothes that are not black or dark is quite difficult. I like the fit of the jacket, I wear medium to large and the large jacket is just right, it’s neither too tight nor baggy. The insulation is just right for me, as I’m working (outside caterer) I don’t want to be so well insulted that I can not move. I’ve not had it long so can’t comment on durability but if like my other Kathmandu clothes it will outlast any high street brands. Kathmandu and Patagonia have become my go to brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and easy to wear Bought this for a trip where I would only need occasional use. It was ideal. Lightweight and easy to fold up small, it was warm and comfortable to wear. Excellant value and I'm sure will be used many times

Hi there, is this jacket ok so sub-zero weather? -5 to -10 degree Celsius. Thank you.

Asked by: tnpc
Yes this jacket would be a big help in -5 to -10 degrees, we often recommend for Alpine conditions to use a down as a mid layer, with base layers underneath and a waterproof/windproof layer on top.

Hi, Please can you let me know whether you think this jacket would be long enough for a tall male (6ft 5in). Thanks

Asked by: Panch
I can give you the length of each size that should help you make your choice. Centre back neck seam to bottom hem: XS = 70.4 cm S = 71.7 cm M = 73 cm L = 74.3 cm XL = 75.6 cm XXL = 76.9 cm

Would this be suitable to wear as a mid-layer under a shell jacket (with high waterproof rating) for skiing in Japan / Canada?

Asked by: Andrew S
Yes, it would be suitable to keep you warm as a mid-layer, and as long as your waterproof shell is tight enough around the waist to be sure to not let any snow in then it should be fine. The main reason why I would suggest one of our Styper Snow Jackets is that they are designed for the snow and they have a snow skirt to keep the snow out.

Is this suitable for enter days? 10 degrees or less...

Asked by: Jess3545
This really depends on what you wear underneath. This should be suitable to keep you warm, however, the Heli range is our lightest down range so if you are after something with a lot more warmth I would opt for something from the Epiq range or the XT range

How do you wash it?

Asked by: Cobber_m8
1. Machine-wash your down jacket on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees °C. 2. Carefully remove your down jacket and lay flat to dry on a clothing rack. 3. Put it in the tumble drier on a low heat. 4. Throw in two to three tennis balls, or Granger’s drying balls. 5. Gently fluff up the down jacket. For more in-depth instructions please use the search bar on the website and search 'how to was a down jacket' and this will come up with an article and a video all about how to properly care for your down jacket.
