Sleek Rain JacketThe jacket is light weight and suitable for light showers. I haven't taken it out in a heavy pour however I feel the jacket, although water proof may struggle to keep me warm. Looks sharp so I'm happy to have in an office environment as well as active wear on the sidelines of the rugby field.

Works great for cold and rainy daysI bought this for my morning walks or when it's raining all day. It's waterproof and the adjustable hood (controlled by velcro on the back) does a good job of keeping water out without the edge going over your eyes.
It fits well and looks good. There is a hidden pocket that is useful for keeping your mobile phone in that is easily accessible.
Sleeves can be tightened or loosened easily.
All in all, I'm happy with this jacket and would recommend it.

This coat is excellent! I was forced to wear it all night, the first time I used it, and it proved light, comfortable, and it breathed. It didn't feel like I had a rain coat at all.

My Second Kathmadu Gore-TexA few years ago, bought the first Gore-tex rain jacket while in Adelaide on a trip from St. Louis. The jacket is incredible in blocking wind and rain but I wanted one in black so I bought the Bealey GORE-TEX on a recent trip to Penrith, NSW. This Kathmandu puts my North Face Hy-Vent jacket/liner system (...sorry North Face) to shame. Not only conformable, like I mentioned blocks out the wind, dry in the rain and with light layering, is super warm.

Does what it says it will do.850m in seaward Kaikoura range. Very cold very windy day, three layers on and still cold. Put on the Bealey jacket and it stopped the wind and protected me from
the ensuing rain. Punishing day which was made better by this jacket.

Great features!!!I bought this two weeks ago. I climbed Mount Cook in it on a stormy day. It really protect me from rain. lt fit me well.
